About MarketDesk
Markets generate an overwhelming amount of noise. MarketDesk exists to strip that noise away: one calm page where the world's key prices — shares, indices, currencies, crypto, commodities and bonds — sit side by side, updating on their own, with a clear chart one click away for anything you want to examine.
Who this site is for
It is for anyone who wants to check the markets without opening a trading account, installing an app, or wading through advertising-heavy portals: students learning finance, savers keeping an eye on gold and exchange rates, and traders who want a fast second screen. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to pay.
Our approach to data
Every figure comes from publicly available market feeds and refreshes automatically while you keep a page open. We label our limitations honestly: some exchange quotes carry short delays imposed by the exchanges, and currency reference rates update daily. We would rather tell you that plainly than pretend to be a trading terminal.
Guides, not tips
The written section of this site explains how markets work — what a yield is, why dividends matter, how currency pegs hold. What it never does is tell you what to buy. We publish explanations, not predictions, and we think that distinction is the difference between a useful site and a dangerous one.

If a number looks wrong, an asset you follow is missing, or a guide left a question unanswered, we would genuinely like to hear it — the contact page comes straight to us.
